Abstract
In the tragic situation of 2016, marked by the worsening of international relations in almost every domain, the ongoing terrorist strategy, the starting or the exacerbation of armed conflicts in many countries, and new major nuclear programs, the only favourable news concerns the ultimate destruction of chemical weapons in Libya. These weapons are thus made not available to the actors of the ongoing civil war, including terrorist groups. The chemical disarmament of Libya went through many steps, corresponding to the evolution in the political situation in the country and at international level. It took more than 12 years to be completed, and the ad hoc support of international community. The full text of this article is available in Italian.
