Abstract
In Summer 2017 "Scienza e Pace" has decided to publish a Thematic Issue on economic inequality and its effects on conflicts, peace, crises of different nature and on social relations in general. In order to do so, the Journal invited economists, jurists, political and social scientists to take part in a one-day conference, which took place on December 1 at the Department of Economics of the University of Pisa, devoted to the analysis of the causes, consequences and proposals to address and face these problems.
